Reservations and Cancellations
- We accept Cash, Cheques, Visa, MasterCard, and American Express.
- Currency All prices are shown in Canadian dollars and include GST where applicable and are quoted on a per person basis. Racing Tours paid in full are firm, otherwise prices are subject to change without notice due to currency fluctuations and costs such as fuel, accommodations, taxes, etc.
- For Racing Tours departing within ninety days, payment must be in full.
- For Racing Tours more than ninety days away, a $250-$500 (depending on the race) deposit is required to secure a seat with the balance due ninety days prior to the departure date.
- Gift Certificates are available in denominations of $125.00, and $250.00 (the amount of a deposit on most Racing Tours). Have Bus Will Travel Racing Tours Gift Certificates never expire and are the ideal gift for The Race Fan for Christmas, Birthdays, Anniversaries, Graduation, or Just Because.
- Unfortunately there will be no refunds on Racing Tours, however we will make every attempt to accommodate you if you need to change to another Racing Tour at least 30 days before the departure date.
- We strongly recommend that you purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance for our U.S. and out of province Tours and Emergency Medical Insurance. RBC Insurance is available through our office.
- Have Bus Will Travel Racing Tours reserves the right to cancel any tour if a minimum number of seats are not sold thirty days prior to the departure date. In the event of cancellation, you may choose to apply your deposit to another Race of your choice or receive a full refund.
Pick Up Locations, Timing and Bus Information
- Pick up locations are usually Carpool Lots along the 400 Series Highways or the QEW in Southern Ontario. At the time of booking we will discuss possible pick up points. The final pick up points and timing will be decided the Tuesday evening before the departure and you will be notified by phone and/or email.
- The double seat directly behind the driver is always reserved for Crew Members.
- Comfort stops are provided every 34 hours.
- Smoking is not permitted on the Bus at any time.
- Our Coaches are equipped with video monitors, DVD, VCR, and CD players, Satellite Radio and TV, a small cooler, microwave, and naturally a washroom.
What to Bring on the Bus, Luggage, etc.
- All luggage should be identified with your name and address.
- Each person is permitted one large suitcase, a chair in a bag and a soft sided cooler to be carried in the luggage compartment.
- One small piece of hand luggage is allowed on board the bus, and a small hard sided cooler (they don't leak)
- For overnight travel a small pillow and blanket are recommended.
- Absolutely no glass containers of any type are allowed on the bus.
- Cash for Race programs, hats, t–shirts, souvenirs, food at the Track and gratuities. It is customary to show your appreciation based on the level of service received from restaurant and hotel staff as well as your professional Driver and Crew Chief.
- Whenever possible we will stop at the Duty Free Stores going to and coming from the U.S.
- Have Bus Will Travel Racing Tours cannot assume any liability for lost or damaged personal property.
What to Take to the Track
- Take a small soft sided cooler, seat cushion, in a clear plastic knapsack or bag you should have your scanner and headphones, binoculars, sunscreen and light rain gear. (Clear plastic bags make Security checks easier and faster.)
- You can expect to see lots of Racing, do lots of shopping either at the NASCAR Driver's Haulers or at the tents outside the Track, pick up samples on the Manufactures Midway, meet lots of good people and have a great time.
Identification and Personal Exemptions
Effective June 1, 2009, Canadian citizens are required to present one of the following valid WHTI-compliant (Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative) documents when entering the United States by land or water:
- Canadian Citizens 16 and Over
- A Passport.
- A NEXUS card.
- A Free and Secure Trade (FAST) card.
- An enhanced driver's licence (EDL) or enhanced identification card (EIC) from a province where a U.S.-approved EDL/EIC program has been implemented.
- A Secure Certificate of Indian Status (when this certificate is available and approved by the United States). In the interim, the current Certificate of Indian Status (INAC card) is an acceptable document to present when entering the United States by land or water.
- Canadian Citizens 15 and Under
(Under 19 if traveling with an organized group such as a school trip)
- One of the above documents, or
- Birth certificate (copy; certified preferred), or
- Canadian citizenship certificate card
- If a parent is travelling alone with a child, an affidavit or letter from the other parent may be required be prepared and bring one with you.
- If you do not have proper identification with you or are denied access to the U.S. for any reason, no refund will be issued. Proper identification and eligibility to enter the U.S. is your responsibility.
- If you are denied entry into the U.S., finding your way home is your responsibility.
- Personal Exemptions: After each absence of 48 hours or more, you can claim up to $400 CDN worth of goods without paying any duties. After each absence of 7 days or more, you can claim up to $750 CDN worth of goods without paying any duties.
- Alcohol and Tobacco: If you have been outside Canada for at least 48 hours and are of legal age, you can bring in these amounts of alcohol and tobacco products, free of duty and tax, as part of your personal exemption:
- Alcohol: 1.14L (40 oz) of liquor; or 1.5L of wine; or 24 x 355ml (12 oz) containers of beer.
- Tobacco: 200 cigarettes, 50 cigars or cigarillos; 200 tobacco sticks or 200 g (7 oz) of manufactured tobacco.
- Please check very carefully the “Canadian Border Services” “Cross Border Shopping Tips” document to ensure you do not run into any problems when crossing the Canadian/USA border travelling in either direction.
Rain Out Policy
- If the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Race (or other main event race) is ‘Rain Delayed’ we will stay at the Track until NASCAR throws the Checkers or announces a postponement to the next day.
- In the case of postponement we will return to the track the following day to see the Race.
- There will be a $200 charge per room if an additional night of accommodation is required.
- We will only stay one extra day and there will be no refunds granted for unseen events.
Tour Photos
- All photos taken by Have Bus Will Travel Racing Tours may be used for advertising or promotional purpose at any time.
Already have Tickets or Want to Meet us at the Hotel?
- If you already have tickets, we will deduct the cost of our tickets from the cost of your Racing Tour. If you want to meet us at the hotel, we will deduct $50 from the cost of your Racing Tour.
